Deafheaven had a really great year in 2013. Their new album Sunbather was unbelievably hyped and not only delivered, but transcended the realm of metal and garnered a lot of mainstream attention and critical acclaim. The band capitalized on a great year by ringing in 2014 with a headlining trek in Australia, bringing along blackened doom group Hope Drone, whom you may remember as being featured in our first ever Heavy Comp Is Heavy download!
