Welcome back to the third and final day of MAGFest 2016 photos! We had the extreme privilege of experiencing the first ever performance of Austin Wintory‘s Journey Live. Not to be confused with the 1970s rockers who brought us “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Journey Live is, as the name implies, a live performance of thatgamecompany‘s Journey. The dynamic performance saw fans attending MAGFest take the stage to play the beautiful adventure game while the Wintory-conducted chamber orchestra used the subtle cadences of the game to produce the soundtrack to the journey. You can view the whole performance here.
We were also able to grab photos of Danimal Cannon, who just released his brand new album Lunaria for us to enjoy, as well as comedy rock legends Psychostick in all their glorious stage antics.
Mega Ran and K-Murdock took to the stage in an ensemble nerdcore rap package that included SkyBlew, D&D Sluggers, Sammus, KadeshFlow, 1-Up, and Professor Shyguy!
To take us to the end of MAGFest 2016, Chicago-based chiptune/pop rock band I Fight Dragons closed out the night before the Chiptune Rave delivered us into the wee hours of alcohol-fueled partying. Please enjoy the final set of MAGFest 2016 photos!
