California Atmospheric Death Metal rising stars Fallujah hope a new record label will help their careers blast off. Details after the break.
2014 was a huge year for Fallujah combining the release of the critically acclaimed The Flesh Prevails with a spot on the full U.S. and Canada swings of Summer Slaughter and a tour of Europe with Dying Fetus.
The album was a success both artistically and commercially and also ended the band’s two-album deal with Unique Leader Records. Now 2015 is launching with the announcement that Fallujah is signing on with Nuclear Blast.
“Since we ever started the dialogue about which route we wanted to take with labels, we always had Nuclear Blast at the top of our list,” Fallujah vocalist Alex Hofmann tells Heavy Blog is Heavy. “Luckily for us after The Flesh Prevails came out we had options from pretty much every label in the metal world, and we were most enticed by how Monte Connor from Nuclear Blast Entertainment had a pretty much identical vision for the band as we had. We’ve got a busy year ahead of us with lots of touring overseas and of course a new record to write. Lots of cool stuff to come.”
Fallujah is starting the year off back on the road with a February East Coast tour with The Contortionist, Revocation, and Toothgrinder before a March West Coast run with Archspire and The Zenith Passage.
