In my review, I heralded Inanimate Existence for creating one of the best albums of the year, and one that I think will become known as a classic in the coming years in the world of technical death metal. One of the highlights of an impressive record, I really dig the female vocals in the middle of this song. I think that the band’s ability to kind of lay back and relax for a little bit before going back into their blistering brand of tech death is something that’s really cool, and while not unique to this band specifically, they really manage to make it work well.
