2013’s From Where We Came Is Where We’ll Rest, from New Jersey’s ruthless hardcore mentalists Old Wounds, was a sleeper hit for me. An album that I didn’t realise how much I was enjoying it until I realised one day that I’d listened to it at least once a day for nearly three months. Maybe that’s a product of it’s brevity, but listening back to it now, each and every cutting riff and harsh bark is seemingly ingrained in my memory — so it’s pretty obvious it made it’s mark.

And apparently we won’t have to wait much longer to hear from them again as the band have announced they are signing with Good Fight and releasing a new EP, entitled Death Projection, on the 16th of September. The video below contains the announcement, as well as some tasty riffs:
