Ever since we premiered Gods of Eden‘s video for their track ‘From the End of Heaven’ we have been coiled for the eventual release of their sophomore album. Mixed and mastered by none other than Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend and many more), this album is looking to be yet another masterpiece from one of the most promising young names out there. Now, we can gladly say that expectations are sure to be exceeded, as Gods of Eden have released a 3 minute teaser of assorted parts from the upcoming release. Hear it for yourself after the jump.
Where does one begin? Perhaps the amazingly intricate guitar work springs to the ear at first, dominating the impressive sound displayed in these short snippets. However, it seems the album is going to be much more; listen closely just after the two minute mark for a weird and beautiful synth solo backed by robust bass and drums. The teaser ends on a strong note, with yet another technical riff embossed with soaring vocals. To say the least, what we can hear sounds good and we are sure the best is yet to come. Stay tuned.
