Good news, everyone! Up and coming progressive metal giants Gods of Eden (whom we posted about just yesterday) have confirmed via Facebook that they will be working with legendary producer/mixer/recording engineer/god among us Jens Bogren!
For the unfamiliar, Bogren has worked with such class acts as Soilwork, Opeth, Katatonia, Ihsahn, Devin Townsend, and Amon Amarth. Honestly, his credited work is quite impressive and you should be incredibly excited that he’s on with Gods of Eden.
The band posted this on their Facebook just last night (or whatever time it was in Australia):
Industry legend Jens Bogren who has worked with Devin Townsend, Opeth, Soilwork, Ishahn and Enslaved amongst many others will be working with us on our debut album at his legendary Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.
Those that have heard his work know that it is truly world class and we are all very excited to be working with him. The album is in the final stages of writing ATM and we will be starting the recording process in the next couple of weeks.
As a bonus we know a lot of people have been asking for this so here it is… Our first ever guitar playthrough! This is an instrumental demo version of one of the new songs taken from our upcoming album.
