These days, Pig Destroyer are a household name as far as the grindcore genre goes. The band are critically acclaimed and in high demand due to the band’s hard-to-come-by live performances. Unless you live in a major city out on the East Coast or are willing to travel, your chances of catching them performing live is pretty slim. That’s why when the band announce performances, the houses get pretty packed. Heavy Blog regular Maclyn Bean was able to get to the January 11th show at Saint Vitus in New York City, where the band performed with support from Dysrhythmia, Trenchgrinder, and Mother Brain. Photos of the show can be seen after the jump.
