No reason to bury the lede: this is probably the track I've most been excited about premiering in the last few months or so. Glaston are a brilliant band; I've known this for a while now. And their upcoming release is seeing light on A Thousand Arms. But forget all of that; the real reason I'm excited for premiering this track is that it really is one of the best pieces of music I've heard in months and an impressive step forward for this Swiss band. Where their brand of post-rock has always been moving, "This Is Us Colliding" is perhaps their most tears inducing, throat-clenching, blood-pumping tracks to date, especially when combined with the video. Head on down below to check it out.

There's something so damn effective about simply shooting the band playing the track because you can see how much this music means to them and how much it runs through their veins. You can of course also hear it, whether in the beautiful piano compositions which serve as the guiding light and the tempo-setters of this track or through the subtle yet interesting bass or on the patient but powerful strings which are spread over this track like a funeral wreath. All of this, plus excellently delicate guitar work, blends incredibly well together into creating a track that is much more than just its build-up and crescendo, bringing to life a cathartic journey in little more than six minutes.

I Am Whole, from which this track comes to us, releases next month. You can head on over to their Bandcamp to keep up to date on more music, as well as pre-orders, the closer we get to November. And you're going to want to; everything on the album is just as good as this.
