Boston natives InAeona are a hard band to pin down, sonically. Described in the press as a post-metal band, they certainly aspire to cosmic heights and they pack the wall of sound to get them there. Structurally and instrumentally, alternative and industrial metal hooks and grooves seep in, easily begging comparison to Untouchables-era Korn with the nu-prog leanings of Karnivool.
The band made a strong first impression last year with their Prosthetic debut Force Rise The Sun, which I praised for being a unique experience in its unique sound and broad scope. Since then, the band have appeared in places like Revolver and Decibel while sharing the stage with the likes of Kylesa and Cult of Luna.
Now, while the band are gearing up for a string of shows this week taking the band through South By Southwest, we’re proud to present a music video for the track “Never Forever”, fittingly comprised of footage from the band’s live show, below.
