March 4th, 2016, the world renowned Madison Square Garden held a special event in their theater. Opening the show was Silver Snakes. For an opening band, they really kicked things off with their heavy, sludgy sound. Drenched in red lights, they owned Madison Square Garden during their half-hour set.
Following was I The Mighty. I The Mighty have been on the rise in popularity in the last 3 or so years, and definitely for good reason. Their energetic performance matches with their music, and definitely deserved to be on this lineup. After I The Mighty was the almighty Glassjaw. This is Glassjaw’s first legitimate United States tour in quite a while, so to see them again in such a short time was great, always have to support the hometown heroes. Even with a lineup change, they still emit an intense live show with lots of energy. Praise be to the OGs of post-hardcore. Finally, concluding this wonderful night at Madison Square Garden, was none other than Coheed And Cambria. Having just released their new album, The Color Before The Sun, they’ve been touring almost non-stop, between doing a handful of Autumn shows with Glassjaw, Cursive, and Thank You Scientist, and touring the UK with Glassjaw, it’s safe to say that Coheed And Cambria aren’t done touring on this cycle just yet. Enjoy the photos below!
