Yesterday marked the ten year anniversary of Kezia , the renowned debut album from Canadian prog metalcore outfit Protest The Hero — and one of Heavy Blog’s favourite concept albums ever. In celebration of a decade of the album’s existence (and continued relevance), the band announced that they’ll be heading out on an anniversary tour late this fall. Head on over the jump for all the juicy deets!

As if an entire tour dedicated to this doozy of an album wasn’t news enough, it was also revealed that the entire original line-up, including former drummer Moe Carlson and bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi, would be reunited for the occasion for the first time since Carlson’s departure in 2013. Party like it’s 2005!

While the band has only announced Canadian tour dates thus far, international fans should not yet lose hope. The verbiage of the announcement (to quote: “Announcing the first of the Kezia 10th anniversary shows”) insinuates that there are more dates to come, though if this is the case it remains to be seen.
