I don’t even feel like we need to go into what’s happened to Lamb of God since the release of their sixth LP, Resolution. Needless to say, the band has had a lot of adversity to overcome and they’re back with the first taste of their new album, which they’ve just announced will be called VII: Sturm Und Drang. Unfortunately you’ll have to give the website your email address when you inevitably decide to listen to the song again, but that’s a small price to pay for this aural assault. Lamb of God hasn’t sounded this high-tempo or as savage in quite a while. There’s still a ton of groovy hooks, plenty of Chris Adler’s trademark drum fills, and instantly memorable vocal lines from what sounds like a rejuvenated Randy Blythe. What are you waiting for?
