TroopOfEchoes
Last time we checked in with A Troop Of Echoes, we had an exclusive and moving track for you. The brass instruments were melancholic and the final result was expansive post-rock of the highest order. Now, we’re pleased to inform you that you can stream the full album, a week ahead of its release! Head on over the jump for the stream, containing all the post-rock goodness you could hope for.

Opening track, “Manifest And Legion”, should give you a pretty good indication of what to expect here: surmounting passages slowly building into a pleasing and moving crescendo. Especially pleasing are the little touches on the bass throughout the track. However, make sure to delve a bit deeper into this album as other gems await you in the forms of nostalgia dripping “Constellation” or the ambitious title track, “The Longest Year On Record”.

All in all, this stream should convince you that May 19th couldn’t come any sooner, when you can finally get your hands on this album. I know I’ll be jamming it once it hits.
