Dead Letter Circus have been hard at work on their new album, and if you’ve been keeping up with their Facebook page, you’ll see that the band are pretty much done with the new record. Many people on staff here are excited, especially considering how fantastic their last album was. As soon as the band hit the studio, everyone was clamoring for new music. However, the band didn’t keep us waiting very long, and have released a single to hold us over. Check it out!

You can listen and download it on iTunes now, as long as you change the settings to Australian when it asks which country you’re in. After repeated listens of the songs, it’s definitely a lot more melancholic than their last record. While the last record was very euphoric and large, this single is more reserved, a tad more quiet. It has a kind of U2 vibe, as if it were something coming off of The Joshua Tree or one of their earlier albums. I’m excited to see how the rest of the album sounds, and you can expect a review from myself in the coming months when we get the record! In the meantime, if you live down under, go check out the band on their ‘While You Wait’ tour. You can get tickets at this location. The new album is expected to come out late summer, and we’ll keep you updated with news as we get it!
