We’ve been raving about Royal Thunder’s fantastic new album Crooked Doors for some time now, even going so far as to call it a “timeless classic,” and if you’re in need of any further convincing that this is one of the best albums of the year, check out the new music video for the album’s opening track, “Time Machine.”
Rolling Stone premiered the video in all it’s psychedelic glory, and it is a sight to behold. Whether on record or in video, Royal Thunder are one of the most compelling bands around and it’s near impossible not to be captivated by their bluesy melodies and Mlny’s unbelievable pipes. The video was also accompanied by a rather extensive interview with Mlny in which she recounts in great detail an experience she had being a part of a crazy Christian cult as well as other details relating to the recording of Crooked Doors, and it’s definitely worth the read.
If you’re one of the poor saps who hasn’t heard Crooked Doors yet, I’ll do you a favor and leave it below for you to jam out to. You can thank me later.
