Willimantic, CT based atmospheric post-hardcore band The World Is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die have announced that they’re entering the studio to record their first record for new label Epitaph Records. Not only that, but they have several 7” releases coming out via Broken World Media and Topshelf Records in the interim.
TWIABP’s activities over the last year include releasing a signature line of plastic forks with the band name on them, and releasing Between Bodies, an excellent collaboration with spoken word artist and poet, Chris Zizzamia. The band’s signing to Epitaph seems like a smart move for the label, as they’ve diversified their roster the last several years with artists who are more underground and diverse, and TWIABP fits well with other recent signings.
