We just announced yesterday that Primitive Man put out their incredibly upsetting video for “Bag Man”, and that they would be touring Europe in a few months. Well, the good news doesn’t stop there! It turns out that right after we put up our article, the band also announced that they’d be touring clubs across the US in June and July with France’s Celeste, who are caught somewhere between the shrill nihilism of black metal and the melodies and emotion of post-hardcore. Dates are posted below.
6/17-Sioux Falls, SD-Total Drag Records
6/19-Milwaukee, WI-Club Garabaldi’s
6/20-Chicago, IL-Cobra Lounge
6/21-Grand Rapids, MI-Death House
6/22-Pittsburgh, PA-Mr. Roboto Project
6/23-Allentown, PA-Good Weekend
6/25-Raleigh, NC-The Maywood
6/26-Columbia, SC-New Brooklyn Tavern
6/27-Orlando, FL-Uncle Lou’s
6/29-Tampa, FL-Epic Problem
7/1-Nashville, TN-The Stone Fox
7/2-Kansas City, MO-TBA
7/3-Wichita, KS- South LuLu Temple of Doom
It’s pretty rare that you’ll get a chance to see Celeste touring over in America, so even though the venues listed above are pretty small clubs, get out there and jump at the chance to see some incredibly heavy music and a rather diverse lineup! Here’s Primitive Man’s very NSFW video for ‘Bag Man’ again, in case you missed it and want to jump-start your day with some bleak doom metal.
