Altar of Plagues malthusian

Unfortunately, experimental black metal visionaries Altar of Plagues are sticking to their story of being woefully disbanded. However, that’s not stopping them from following through with their promise of “not reuniting” throughout 2015 for some proper farewell gigs for whoever will accept them, seemingly out of spite of the very probable offers from festivals trying to “buy” the band’s reunion. On one hand, we won’t be seeing them at Maryland Deathfest, Roadburn, or Temples Fest any time soon and that is unfortunate. On the other, the group have announced a string of “posthumous” dates across Europe, bringing in tow the blackened death metal act Malthusian.

Notwithstanding the fact that we already had a ‘final’ performance, we regret having performed only four times following our split and are pleased to have the opportunity to share a thorough farewell with some of you.

Joining us will be the incredible Malthusian

I know that many of you, like myself, are experiencing some pangs of desperation due to the lack of US dates. I’m not necessarily “in the loop” on the matter, but I would remain optimistic.
