Man, this sucks.
Jonathan Athon was 32 years old. He passed away Sunday after injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. The band posted a statement on their page, and is as follows:

According to recent sources, an 85-year-old man ran a stop sign, and Athon had no time to avert a crash. He was placed in a medically induced coma due to the extent of his brain injuries while his girlfriend recovered in the hospital, where she remains stable.
Our sincerest condolences go out to everyone in Athon’s family, his girlfriend Emily, and the band. Life’s too short sometimes, and it always feels like the good die too damn young. RIP, Athon. Your music kicked ass in every way.
