Today is an excellent day. Why, you ask? Why it’s because we have new music from the Devin Townsend Project to share with all of you! It was premiered through Kerrang! and it’s fantastic. What else did you expect? This time, it’s from Sky Blue, the first disc of Z2. You can check out our 5/5 review for Sky Blue here. I’m glad that this track is everyone’s introduction to the record’s sound, because it is one of my personal favorites off the album. Devin’s vocals push the song forward, as do the heavy riffs and memorable chorus. Not only is it a killer song all on it’s own, it’s a killer album opener. Definitely one of the tracks with the largest carry over from Epicloud, which is by no means a bad thing. So crank it up, sing along and bang your head.
