Bay Area thrash masters Exodus have premiered the title track from their forthcoming album, Blood In, Blood Out, over at Billboard, and it rips new assholes. Click the link to listen, or listen here after the jump.
One word comes to mind when listening to this song: RIFFS. Gary Holt is hands down my favorite guitarist from the Bay Area thrash scene, and this song once again proves that he has a seemingly endless supply of shredding, thrashing and downright badass riffs. Also, it’s great to hear Steve ‘Zetro’ Souza singing in the band once more. The guy undoubtedly has one of the most recognizable voices in all of metal, and hearing his voice on an Exodus record once more hearkens back the band’s early albums, which is a very, very good thing indeed.
Blood In, Blood Out is available for pre-order here. The album is set to be released on Oct. 14 via Nuclear Blast. Be sure to catch Exodus this fall as they embark on the second leg of their tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Slayer, which consequently means you’ll get two times the Gary Holt.
