We’ve been going on and on about the merits and products of the Australian scene over here at Heavy Blog and with good reason. It appears the international metal community is slowly waking up to the fact, these past few years. Nothing points more in that direction that the growth and recognition that has characterized Soundwave Festival in the past few years. As the festival announces its final lineup for 2015, the recognition and magnitude of names on the bill drives the point home. Head on over the jump for the full list!
There you have it. With some of the biggest name in heavy rock headlining the first day while the second is reserved for the returning Slipknot, it appears Soundwave Festival is the place to be for many bands this year. Added to that are young names such as Monuments and Ne Obliviscaris, with a slew of other great, veteran names. If you’re in Australia, I can only envy you! If you’re making the trip all the way over there for this, you have my respect.
