After breaking out just last year with their Relapse debut Sky Burial, Richmond, VA stargazers Inter Arma are already shaking things up with the announcement of an impending EP titled The Cavern, a standalone 40-minute epic spanning a myriad of genres through a vicious psychedelic haze.
Inter Arma were always hard to pin down; the group aren’t content with sitting still or playing it safe. Expect a kaleidoscopic blend of sludge, doom, black metal, post-rock, and Americana. Sky Burial runs the gamut of course, but expect a lot of interesting things to happen in the course of a single 40-minute epic. The Cavern, which features a guest vocal spot from Windhand‘s Dorthia Cottrell (!!!), will be available October 14th. Pre-orders are currently available at this location.
