2014 is shaping up to be another great year for heavy music. Within the first three months we’ve seen a handful of great releases, including Periphery, Behemoth, The Mire, and Intervals. Its safe to say we can add Illustrations‘ first full length, In Vain, to the list.
Their brooding atmospheric take on hardcore is absolutely devastating. Fans of Gaza, Young And In The Way, and Full of Hell will feel right at home. Vinyl albums, found here, are going fast with the clear printings already sold out. The cover art is absolutely gorgeous contrasting a unique shade of bleached grays against black.
