It’s easy to make fun of Sunn O))), in fact it’s easy to make fun of drone in general. But, here I am, sat listening to the first teaser we have of this upcoming collaboration between these drone titans and the ever-enigmatic Ulver and all I can say is; not much music can invoke this strange and alien atmosphere quite like these two do.

‘Eternal Return‘ will probably be much, much longer come the release of Terrestrials, but here in this teaser we get to experience a good three minutes of the track that range from serene strings that bring to mind the southern twang of modern day Earth to darker brooding soundscapes, the likes of which both acts have explored before.
