Consider this less of an informative news post and more of a ‘nerr-nerr-nerr-nerr-nerr I’m going to see this and you’re probably not’.

Regardless, the start of Lamb Of God‘s European tour, alongside Decapitated and Huntress, got off to a rocky start with the announcement that guitarist Mark Morton would be sitting out from the tour due to a ‘family emergency’, which is completely understandable. However, what I wasn’t expecting, was that they would grab Paul Waggoner from none-other than Between The Buried And Me to fill in.

If you’re a fan, you’ll already know that Waggoner is way too talented and so will probably take to the tracks like a duck to water. In fact, judging by some of the live footage that has been making the rounds since the announcement, it’s pretty obvious he’s having the time of his life and the beard definitely helps him fit in seamlessly.

It’s not certain how long Waggoner will be filling in, but the tour isn’t that long so it’s probably fair to assume he’s around for the duration.

I’m certain I can speak for everyone at Heavy Blog when I say we send our best wishes over to Morton at this time.
