I love Blazon Rite! I love them so much that I need to start this post that way, to just let that unbridled passion for their music shine through from the get go. I need to do that also because that's how Blazon Rite themselves approach their music; everything they do is illuminated with how much they clearly love heavy metal and how much they're dedicated to making it sound as excellent as possible. "Wild Rites and Ancient Songs", the title track from their upcoming album set for release on April 14th, is a great example of that. From the meaty, galloping bass, through the fiery main riff, and all the way to the excellently grandiose vocals, the track glistens with heavy metal puissance. No more words! Check it out below!
Hell yeah, battle siblings! This track has everything which has always made Blazon Rite so good. I especially love higher tempo of the track, a rhythm they adopt for a select few tracks on each one of their albums. It sets the entire thing to an unresistable pace, feeling your heart with the verve and power that the lyrics describe as well. Add in a marvelous solo (dotted with excellent cymbal work, and you know how much I love that), more of that excellently present and muscular bass, and you've got another heavy metal banger from one of the masters of the ancient craft.
