Here at Heavy Blog, we’ve had the privilege to sponsor a number of tours from all sorts of bands we’re fans of. Our latest sponsored tour, the Proggest August Tour, featuring Native Construct, Wings Denied, and Outrun the Sunlight just wrapped up [view photos here], so we’re especially pleased to be bringing another one to you so soon. The Fret Fuel Can’t Melt Steel Strings Tour will feature two bands pushing the limits of progressive metal through advanced technicality and use of electronics — Sirens and The Fine Constant.

In case you don’t recall, we were quite impressed with Sirens’s latest release, Surge [review], as staff writer Simon Handmaker called it “A perfect example of how to write music that uses its heaviness as the canvas on which a different genre leaves its hues” and “a must-listen for anyone interested in the future of electronics in metal.” Meanwhile, The Fine Constant have been on our radar for a while, having released an engrossing album Woven In Light [stream here] earlier this year and co-headlining another tour we sponsored with Maid Myriad [videos here]. The two bands will be embarking on an extensive tour this fall throughout the US, and you’re definitely going to want to check them out if they’re coming anywhere near you.
