Touring off the back of their most recent album, Pale Communion, Opeth have once again graced Australian shores, this time with a setlist that catered to fans of pre and post “maturity”. It’s always a treat to photograph at a large venue like Eatons Hill; the elegant architecture and extravagant lighting rigs allowed for some extremely epic moments and made shooting a breeze. Caligula’s Horse kicked the night off with their relentlessly tight performance and huge stage presence before Opeth took the stage and charmed the audience, winding things up with a “Deliverance” encore performance. Huge thanks to Metropolis Touring for having me there, check out the photos below!
