When I heard recent blog favorites Scumguts [Listen!] and Fvck Mountain [Listen!] were playing a show together, I knew I had to be there. Topped off by the likes of Dire Wolf, who announced this to be their last show for the foreseeable future due to members moving out of the country, this was an immensely enjoyable event to witness. The only shortcoming was the turnout, which is not atypical of Brisbane, but disappointing nonetheless as a larger crowd would have bolstered the already insane levels of energy exuding from the stage.
