It’s that time again. Philadelphia’s This Is Hardcore Festival has announced the full lineup for the tenth year of this esteemed gathering of hardcore, punk and every crossover genre in between the two. It is a varied bag of surprises and obvious calls with quite a few Heavy Blog favorites rearing their ugly heads. Check the full list of acts performing after the jump and I might even share with you my itinerary for the weekend.

I won’t be travelling from Scotland to attend this unfortunately but if you are in the area and/or wanting to catch some of the most rowdy bands about then this is a no brainer. The festival runs from July 23rd-26th and will take place across several Philly venues. The stacked lineup contains the likes of Code Orange, Defeater, Homewrecker, Nails and Xibalba. If you are going to the show, check out this selection of bands for me and I promise I’ll be moshing across the Atlantic regardless of the time difference. It’s probably worth mentioning as well that Misfits will be playing the classic Earth AD in its entirety. Who said punk is dead? It’s just getting on a bit in it’s old age.
Tickets go on sale on this Friday at this location from 12pm EST so don’t sleep on it you bums.
