Even a cursory listen of Montreal tech-death band Beyond Creation should make one thing abundantly clear: this quartet epitomizes musicianship. Unfortunately, the band announced yesterday that they are now currently a trio, as bassist Dominic “Forest’” Lapointe has decided to part ways with the band due to “personal reasons.” Head past the jump to read the rest of the band’s statement:
Unfortunately, we have to announce that Dominic ‘’Forest’’ Lapointe is no longer part of Beyond Creation for personal reasons. We would like to thank him for his great work and dedication to the band for the past four years. We had a lot of fun sharing the stage with him and recording two solid records! Dominic stays our friend and we keep a good relationship with him. We wish him the best of luck for all his bands and future projects.

If anyone was questioning whether or not this will be a loss to the band, watching Lapointe in action should provide a strong enough answer:
The remainder of the band has not provided any additional information regarding Lapointe’s departure, namely who will replace him both permanently and/or for their upcoming March and April tour dates. HBIH will provide updates as soon as they are made available.
