You may or may not like The Ghost Inside, but I happen to enjoy their music. While it’s not necessarily groundbreaking in any sense of the word, they have a good sound and like to stick to it, and I can always appreciate that. However, recently we learned that the band and co-founder Aaron Brooks (above, second from left) have parted ways from one another. You can read the full statement from the band below.
“The Ghost Inside is parting ways with guitar player Aaron Brooks. The band wishes him the best of luck in the next chapter of his life.”
Pretty light on the details. I’m guessing this split wasn’t exactly amicable, but at least the band are staying away from any drama regarding this recent turn of events, which is always nice. There’s far too many bands out there that start unnecessary drama (yes you, Rings Of Saturn) just for the sake of starting drama. The band just released a new album last year titled Dear Youth on Epitaph, and it’s a good record, so at least Aaron left the band on a high note.
More on this if and when it comes in.
