Two months ago, progressive rock vets Circa Survive announced that they had signed a deal with Sumerian Records. We are now seeing the fruits of that deal. The band announced that their brand new album Descensus will be released November 24th of this year! Not only that, but we’ll also be getting a brand new single on the 27th of this month as well as the ability to preorder the album. Along with the news came a short teaser of a new, fairly aggressive, song. Make sure to check it out after the jump!
2014 has been an awesome year for music and this sounds like it’s going to continue the streak of great material we’ve been experiencing. Everything in this teaser is punchy and in your face, which is a side of Circa I really enjoy, but I just don’t get to hear it often enough. This teaser fills that void and leaves me drooling in anticipation until the full track is released. Until then, I’ll be patiently waiting.
