Dutch progressive metal act Schizoid Lloyd are soon to be the go-to band for those missing the flamboyance and grandiosity from the likes of Queen and Mr. Bungle. The act’s forthcoming Blood Music release The Last Note In God’s Magnum Opus promises to build upon the maddening groundwork laid by those bands, augmented by the modern melancholic prog style of Leprous and a genre-defying sense of adventure. We’ve already been given a very promising look at the record via the track ‘Suicide Penguin’, but now we’re pleased to premiere the equally astounding ‘Misanthrope Puppet.’ Stream the track after the jump.
