So, a few weeks ago we told you that Primus will be releasing a new album, based on the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory musical. How can this not be weird? I don’t know but we don’t have to wonder for too long because the band have now released another track from the album, ‘Golden Ticket’. Head on over the jump to listen to it.
I actually really like this track. Les’s whispered voice works great here and there’s no equal to Alexander at the drums. The off beat weirdness of it is great and very much in keeping with the whole eerie feeling that I’ve always felt infused most of Dahl’s books. I can’t wait to hear some of the “rockier” tracks on this, as I’m sure they’re on it. Stay tuned for more and hopefully those get released as well!
