Minus the Bear. Are they pop? Are they hardcore? Are they post-rock? Who knows and, honestly, who cares? Regardless of classification, they are one of the most unique and influential bands of the last decade or so, mixing all their different influences under a pop-y canopy. Now, the band are set to reissue their two seminal releases, They Make Beer Commercials Like This and Planet of Ice.
I, for one, am exceptionally excited about Planet of Ice. One of my favorite albums, it is down right unique in its throwback to prog classics and other influences not found on earlier releases.
