Trioscapes are certainly not an easy act to pin down. While we’re no strangers to fusion or jazz here at Heavy Blog, something about the raw intensity and sheer dedication to their own sound makes this band especially ear-twisting and mind-bending. Regardless, it’s impossibly to deny they have incredible talent. To support their newest release, the trio has released a video for the title track ‘Digital Dream Sequence’. I obviously won’t analyze everything we’re hearing here, since that will take me many more words than a news post can contain. My favorite part is the chilled out one around the five minute mark and I really like the quality of this video: bare-boned and focused on the band themselves and their technical abilities. We’re going to try and tackle their new album soon, so stay tuned for that review!
