Opeth - Pale Communion
A few days ago, we and the rest of the metal-sphere (that’s a thing which exists because I said so) clued you in on a rogue stream of a track from Opeth‘s upcoming Pale Communion, titled Cusp of Eternity’. That unofficial stream has since been pulled from the internet but if you were aching for a few more listens, your wait is over. You can now officially stream it online, free from any guilt you might have had.

As we mentioned last time, this track is a good indication of the speculated direction that Opeth are taking with this new album. With the much debated Heritage behind them, the band seeks to solidify this emerging style and make it their own. Cusp of Eternity certainly does that, echoing Heritage at times while still being a beast of its own design. Head over to TeamRock.com and stream the track in full!

Pale Communion will see release on August 26th, via Roadrunner. You can slake your thirst in the meantime with our breakdown of the cover art.
