The highly anticipated but delayed first single from Opeth‘s upcoming album Pale Communion has made its way online! Yes, the song is legitimate, and it has that old school prog rock/proto-metal feel to it that Heritage had. Make of that what you will; I know a lot of people fell off the Opeth bandwagon when that album dropped, but I enjoyed it as I do ‘Cusp of Eternity.’
Pale Communion will be out August 26th via Roadrunner. Expect pre-orders to pop up shortly.
