The more I hear from this upcoming Archspire release The Lucid Collective, the more I’m willing to proclaim it as one of the highlights of the year to come. Each track is a white-hot combination of riffs that judder and weave, whilst sounding entirely intentional, and drums that present that ever-present question of ‘how does a human being even do that?’
The latest track to come tearing out the gates doesn’t change that at all, as ‘Seven Crowns And The Oblivion Chain‘ is, as it’s name suggests, completely insane. The track is available to stream here, through Metal Injection, but you may need to bolt some items down around your speakers before you set it off. Just saying.
