The Acacia Strain have a new album due out on the 14th (technically 2 since it’s a dual-disc record) and I am incredibly excited for it. They’re one of my favorite bands, and they’ve impressed me with their first two singles thus far. Now their new single ‘VVorld Demise’ is poised to make old school TAS fans happy. It definitely sounds more like old school TAS than the previous two singles, which is always a good thing. The band peaked with Continent, but I’mm still excited to see how this record sounds, especially the second disc, which contains a 20-something-minute long track. Sweetness. DOOM.
