It’s always unfortunate to hear of band’s missing out on opportunities due to internal issues, but it’s an equally unfortunate fact of life that sometimes things just don’t work out. The latest situation of this ilk comes as the Facebook page of the UK Tech-Metal Fest has announced that Glass Cloud, featuring Joshua Travis of The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza and Jerry Roush of Sky Eats Airplane, has cancelled their appearance at the festival due to the fact that ‘t

wo members have recently been asked to leave the band’. The full statement reads as:“We regret to inform you that

Glass Cloud

have cancelled their Performance at Tech-Fest 2014. So far all we have been told is that “Two members have recently been asked to leave the band”. An official statement will come from the band themselves shortly. We have already secured a replacement act which will be announced asap! We are deeply sorry to all those affected by this, we promise that we will try our best to bring Glass Cloud back for a future Tech-Fest another time. Chins up… You still have 2 incredible headliners + 1 replacement band + The After Parties/Workshops to be announced very soon, so its not all doom and gloom!”

So, not a huge worry to attendees of the festival as Tech-Fest seem to already have a replacement at hand. It’s uncertain as of yet which members have actually left the band, but a statement should be made soon as the band are set to embark on a co-headlining tour of the US and Canada with Scale The Summit, alongside Erra, Reflections and Monuments from mid-way through July.

More news as we get it.
