OK, so I thought about starting this post with my signature move: some over-wrought metaphor or story that will, eventually, culminate in me gushing about how excited I am to attending Progstorm Festival this year. But instead, I'm just going to do a much simpler move: link to the poster and the running set-list times for the festival. I think they will do (most of) the talking for me.

I mean...right? I would have driven up to see any one of those days in isolation but instead, I get to hang out in Montreal for three nights (a city I've been told is quite cool) and watch...holy crap, everyone. Seeing Dessiderium is a highlight for me, alongside Wilderun, two bands that don't play often and that I absolutely adore. But even if you're not focused on the "smaller" bands on this bill, there's plenty here for you: Cynic, Anciients, motherfucking Car Bomb, and so much more! Also holy crap, I forgot An Abstract Illusion are on this!
This is going to be such a blast and I would love to see some Heavy Blog readers at this! Come high five! To do that, go here and get some tickets. I'll see you there OK?
