It's pop-quiz time! Did you know that Nu House Studios is one of my favorite studios? Not "just" because they can mix a mean riff or produce the crap out of a good blast-beat, but also because they are an outspoken and radical safe space for queer musicians. Second question! Did you know that supporting the causes we care about materially, with our time, our money, our attention, and our craft is infinitely more important than sharing or talking about those causes? Heavy Blog has donated to Nu House's Trans Musician Fund several times in the past, because we believe in putting our money where our mouth is and supporting the people in our scene who most need it.
