Monte Pittman’s New Album, Inverted Grasp Of Balance, Due Out September 23rd—Jam “Pride Comes Before The Fall” Now

Very PR post right here, but with good reason—Monte Pittman is a pretty sick guy (shouldn’t we get him to a hospital?). You may know him as the guitarist for the mighty Madonna, as well as a stint with legendary thrash outfit Prong. Yes, that Madonna

The guitaring, singing, songwriting triple threat has a new album coming out on Metal Blade Records next month—September 23rd, 2016, to be precise. Recently released, the new single “Pride Comes Before The Fall” throws in a little bit of the nu metal edge, giving off strong vibes in the radio rock realm, but with enough groove to keep you bouncing for it’s nearly four-minute duration.

I can’t quite put my finger on what this reminds me of, but the style is definitely something I’ve heard before. There’s a little bit of Avenged Sevenfold in here, but I get serious Chris Caffery vibes, specifically his Faces-era music.

If the rest of Inverted Grasp of Balance is anything like this track, it’ll turn out pretty solid.

You can pre-order the new album via Bandcamp for a cool tenner.
