It’s been well documented how much I love hardcore music. It’s definitely become one of my favorite genres of music, especially over the last year. There’s been so many great releases that it’s really been hard to keep up, and today, I add another album to that long list of awesome records. Common Blood is the new EP from Ireland’s own Axecatcher, and they’ve been so kind as to let us host the exclusive full album stream! Check it out!

This EP kicks ass. It’s raw, energetic, and sounds killer. Aside from the music, I’m extremely impressed with the great production the band has on this record. From the moment the EP opens with “Semblance”, you’re thrust on a wild ride down a chaotic and dissonant road, twisting and turning through each song as if you’re on a runaway drive down a steep mountain hill. This has to be one of the best EPs I’ve heard all year, and the band has definitely produced a sleeper hit. These guys are going to be huge, and I cannot wait for them to blow up in the US. Hopefully this gets people talking so they could hop on some awesome tours.
