It’s no surprise that Brooklyn is the best east coast area for theatrical, dramatic, obscure bands to perform. July 1st, 2016 was  a perfect example of this. The Bell House was the host for 3 amazing bands. Opening the show was Cult Leader, who as usual, laid Brooklyn to waste. It is highly recommended that you go see Cult Leader, whether it be on this tour (which you should be going to anyway), or any future tours they go on.

Following was Primitive Man. If you ever wondered what kind of music cavemen would be making in this lifetime, Primitive Man are the perfect example. Between the loud, rumbling guitar, booming bass, and vocalist Ethan McCarthy’s yells from hell, there is no doubt that there was no patron left unchanged after that set.

Lastly, Dragged Into Sunlight mesmerized the crowd with their blinding strobes and punishing wall-to-wall noise. Honestly, words do not do Dragged Into Sunlight’s performance justice. If there’s a band that you should see multiple times (granted, you aren’t an epileptic), it would be Dragged Into Sunlight.
