Although Connecticut doesn’t have a very popular music scene, they have a couple of popular bands from there. The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die held their album release party for Harmlessness over at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut with quite a nice lineup. Opening the show was Loner Chic [not pictured], a Connecticut pop punk/indie local act. They really set the mood for what the rest of the show was about to be like. Following was The Island Of Misfit Toys. It is safe to say that there is another band that has more members than both The World Is… and Slipknot, and they were even missing one of their drummers. Although their set was short, they were able to release any anguish that was held within themselves, as all of the members sang loud and clear whilst performing their respected parts.
